Beyond borders

       Benny let his thoughts to wander. He was dazed by all that had happened. His life had turned around completely; from enjoying a summer holiday with his family, to an expedition with complete strangers. He could not wrap his head around it, no matter how hard he tried. He had embarked on an unspeakable adventure. But, still a greater part of his heart remained in Greenvalley. He remembered home. He remembered mom and dad. He wanted to share with them all that had happened. But, where were they? He hoped they were safe somewhere. Who knew if they were even alive? But, that was why he was here. He had crossed these borders to save them. He will find them.
       His eyelids weighted shut, and he dozed off.
